Virgo
Earth-bound Virgo is ruled by Mercury like Gemini. But the effect with this sign, which is ruled especially by reason, is different. Virgos are people who are capable of imparting knowledge and capabilities to others confidently and in a friendly manner. They possess a very clear intellect, which is accompanied by farsightedness, and for this reason they often appear distant to other people. This is by no means the case, however, for Virgoans also have a rich inner life which makes them very creative, including when it comes to eroticism. They love their family and their friends and would go through hell for them on account of their strong need for love. And they are capable of putting the needs of others before their own. They can however be very resentful and their tendency to criticise and to comment also comes through occasionally. Such a sign as partner at your side can bring calm and a sense of measure into your life paired with fond reliability – if you are prepared to fit into a certain order.
Their sense of duty and their outstanding intelligence also make them valued co-workers. They can prove to be a great support for their bosses, for they like to make use of their organisational talents not just at home but also at work.
As strong thinkers they sometimes lapse into brooding. Precisely this leads, however, to frequent psychosomatic ailments. The digestive tract in particular then causes problems.

The eternally fluid metal mercury also belongs to this sign. It is rapid in its movements, sometimes liquid, sometimes volatile and thus speaks of flexibility– very beneficial for the Virgoan.
